The Member Appreciation Brunch
at The Sanctuary Golf Club
What is hoped to be an annual membership appreciation event was held on April 13th, at The Sanctuary Golf Club.
The successful event generated 25 new members on the spot, and allowed current members to pick-up their equipment for future deployment. Members received shirts, caps, jackets, and roller bags.
The highlight of the afternoon was entertainment provided by Bobby Logue of The Schoolhouse Theatre who sang and danced to a number of musical theatre tunes.
The April 19th POD Exercise
The POD Exercise at the Sanibel School on April 19th was a success. There were more than 30 volunteer POD Workers, and 60 volunteer Patients.
35 new members were signed up at the event.
Following the exercise the group met and discussed the successful areas and areas where improvement can be made at the next exercise.
